What stuff with W114 jack/spare?
I picked up a jack finally the other day, I have a spare and a few other misc parts, some sort of hold down. Anyone have a photo or a quick list of what's supposed to be in the truck? Was there a tool kit?

on my 72 220 there was a tool kit, the jack and a plate of sorts with an L shaped bolt to hold all the stuff against the rear passenger side fender, oh and a spring to put tension on the jack to prevent, I suppose rattles

Hmm, I'm missing something there, I have the hold down for the spare tire, don't think I have the rest though. If anyone has a camera handy when there trunk is open I'd love to see where everything fits if I could.

the only stuff I have that comes to mind other than the jack I thiefed from a w108 the other day in the boneyard, is a vaguely L shaped screw dealy to secure the spare tire to the cubby spot in the pass rear. I haven't looked in awhile but I can't think where the jack mounts.
It did just occur to me that I have an owners manual and such, I keep forgetting, most of them seem to be gone on cars I get. I might show where the goodies reside back there. I'll get out to the farm maybe tomorrow and see if the weather isn't too icky.

The jack fits behind the spare against the rr quarter panel btween the wheelhousing and the taillight.
BTW, the bolt and plate that secure the spare wheel, is not long enough to work with a bundt.... Jim

I also have the L shaped bolt with the round disc plate on it....along with tail lights, rear side markers, the fuel filler door, and some other stuff I grabbed.
If anyone wants the stuff, I'll be happy to send them the WHOLE box for cheap. Somewhere there are pics in the Parts forum.
