Cool, but $10k is insane; should be asking $3000 and be glad to get it. How come someone can take a $3000 car, put $4000 into it, then ask $10,000 when it's sale time and keep any sense of decency and logic about themselves?

Some people sadly view cars as an investment.

Sorry, unless you have a '67 Shelby GT500 or a '71 Hemi Cuda (or something similar) your car is probably not worth nearly what you think, avg Joe

Too bad he didn't show pics of the engine install. Might have been interesting.

X2

Most cars depreciate unless they become truly rare, notorious or are the property of celebrities.

Even then, not necessarily.

I bought Groucho Marx's old 1953 MB 220 berlkine after it had been sitting for years and it cost in the under 1000 range, but it needs everything. And I mean EVERYTHING. Tho it's got a cool sunroof and gauges, plus an old SW radio in the dash from Grundig

Probably someone will pay a kazillion bucks for Angelina Jolie's last lease car, but not me.

Outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend. Inside of a dog it's too dark to read.

It's not dissimilar to other car ads whose asking price is generated by adding all of the repair receipts together and posting that ridiculous number.
