I can help

I have quite a few brackets, if you can figure out the ones you need I can supply you with them.

Part # would be the best.

If I have time, I can research them, You need 280S?

up load a photo of what you have,..so I can compare.

Can you take a photo of a friends car with the correct brackets?

I'll need the length. The are all 4 bolt.

M130

here's a sl picture showing the longer supports,..

I have these ones.

If someone with a 280s/se could measure the length and post it, I can ship them.

OK, what motor did you start with? Was it in another 280S?
Did you see this motor in the source car?

Can you send pictures of the mount problem? Motor in place, one bolt in the mount correctly and one bolt not making it?

I've been through this. In one case, the arms were too long. A little bit of sawing and a TIG weld repair and it was all fixed. Making the mount longer is less plesant.

Thx -CTH

The way I interpret his post:

He has a 108 chassis, M130 engine. 280S

My buddy has a 108/280SE, so the engine supports should be identical.

I can pull from my own stock or buy his if he is in a rush.

I would'nt feel to comfortable with a fabrication but it seems like the work you did is still holding.

Does anyone have the part # they can flash a light on and read?

If he could measure the distance of the gap/void even that will help.

The casting # is easy to read.

I went on EPC and this is what they give for the 108016 280S:
180 223 24 04 Engine support Left
180 223 25 04 Engine support Right

There is also a USA version but I was not able to get P/Ns. I assume they are the same.
