Yeah, I know about the work restrictions. I'm just lucky I can still visit this site. Facebook got blocked last week; photobucket is blocked. eBay, yahoo, and Google Mail though are still available.

The message you got from your seach means you need to CALL PHIL!!!! All parts are NOT in the catalog.

:-) now both carburetors are hissing at idle like a pair of Sleestacks.
I bought one Walker kit. They are not near as good as the Royze kit . (Confirmed)
The gaskets are ok but the Walker accelerator pump seal is a joke.
I could tell when I took the carbs apart, that they were rebuilt some time ago with Walker kits. Had the same lame pump seal.

Is the Royze accelerator pump seal available by itself?

Also noticed the mixing tubes were right on the front carb but not on the rear carb. It had the S4 in the secondary and N4 in the primary. And the front carb base gasket was the wrong way around with the small hole over the large secondary port. I had a good ole laugh.

Anyhoo. There is still a minor vacuum leak in the lower section of the carbs. They must be ever so slightly warped. I could not see it with my eyes and a stright edge. But the Revs go up when I spray carb cleaner at the mid to bottom of the carbs.

But, never the less, it is running much better now. Still some work to do but progress is being made. Just slowly.

This web site is a huge help.

Went and orderd the ZE-11K kit from Peaches. Could always use the gaskets in the future and I know the accelerator pumps in th Royze kits are excellent.

You might have some leakage around the throttle shafts. They can be re-bushed. You will ALWAYS have some air being sucked through the shafts. It's just the nature of an old carb.

That sounds right on. Thanks for the tip. i will check it out. They did not feel sloppy when I rebuilt them but new bushes would be a good idea anyway.

Adding a pic of the Tag.

The Royze carb kit came in yesterday. That's some fast shipping!

The shroud came in today. I don't think it is the right one. Maybe for a differnt engine 114.

I pulled the back carb to put the Royze kit in it. When I removed the acceleratot pump the (walker) seal was damaged. It had a small chunk missing. I found the missing chunk and tossed it in the trash. I removed the nozzle and found it to be free of debris.
Also, with one walker kit and one Royze kit, the carbs where at different hights making it difficult to seat the air cleamer flush. The car started right up and idled. Now I just need to set the chokes and synch the carbs. I noticed that the front carb acclerator pump was not performing very well. When at first it was squirting with authority. I removed it for inspection and found no damage. I am stumped.. I check the float level and it is good (22mm).

The shroud i got off ebay looks like it is not the right one. PN# 1145050755.
Does anyone has a pic of a 72 250C shroud? Is it a 110 PN# or a 114?
I have a "never been installed" 1145050755 shroud if anyone needs one.

I read some threads about people using two electric fans. This is looking like a nice option.

Stumped and blind. The accl pumps are working just fine. I put on my reading glasses and saw they are squirting a stream of fuel.

And now you know why I converted my M115 with twin Solexes to Megasquirt! When they're right, they are fantastic. When they are wrong, well, you know.

I had the good fortune to be working on an engine which had a different intake available (most M115's had a single Stromberg side draft) and it was a matter of changing out the intakes.

I don't think I've ever seen an M130 with just a single carb. Possibly you could locate a fuel injected manifold.

I just got back from the salvage yard, there was 72 there, complete, gasser. Interior was tan and mint, all gauges, misc. Engine compartment complete with Zeniths. I'll need to go back and take photos. Want me to inquire about the carbs?

I wish I could find a nice coupe interior locally. I should have grabbed the interior from the car that i got the pans from when it was in good shape. They left it out in the rain so when I got back to it , it had already started to fall apart.

Yes please. A fan shroud would be great too. At least a pic of the shroud.
I am going to order the dealer parts book. Not going to buy the wrong part again. LOL.

also the interior light near the rear view mirror. And the drivers seat side trim that covers the hidge area.

Where are you located Jackson101?

the car starts fine and idles ok. I drove it around my property last weekend. It runs pretty good and does not "clunk" into gear anymore. I had a blast on the dirt road.
Still something is not quite right. I took a good look down the front carb main venturi and (w/ reading glasses on) couold see dribbling from the atomizer at idel. (Back carb is fine.)

When I cover the idle air hole with a eraser (Front Carb) nothing changes. When I do this to the back carb at idle, the engine dies. at a higher RPM, the RPM's dip then go higher.

Does this mean the idle air circuit is still blocked on the front carb?

Well. At least it will start and run so i can move it out of the way to manuver the 91 Ranger chassis under the 60 Ranchero. The front clip and floor are now seperated from the cab / bed. Had a productive weekend despite the 95+ heat.
