If those map pockets are brown I'd like to beg, borrow, or steal them from you...

Did Al go in there and cut out the floor plan for his new project?

I had them cut the floor out for my silver 280CE. The car has pretty sever rot so I had them cut the floor from rocker to rocker and above the pedals to where the back seats start.

You should have seen that thing fold up.

So much work, I'm dreading putting them in. But thanks for the lead.

Now if you're looking for one, I saw this on the Dallas, CL.

http://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/cto/1842491765.html

It looks pretty clean and I love the color. It's the same color as my 71 250CE back home which will also be going to the crusher soon.

Man Thats a beauty--if i was only into gas benz's. That metallic paint just aint right though.
I dony envy the floorboard job--last one was a 67 convert Camaro. thats dirty hot gritty work, and best done with a car lift. Are you gonna have the doner floor sandblasted or dipped first?

if your car is that rusty, wouldn't it have been easier to use the shell from the wrecker?
...speaking as someone whose 220SE has mega rust in the floor,or what is leaft of the car from the rockers down...

Yep, but they won't let you buy the car once it's in the yard.
