I mean, it's all nice and well to have your car original but to have your car original with the pistons melted to the cylinder walls is not all that keen.
Another common problem is the plug connector between the aux-fan lead and the wiring harness, located next to the radiator behind the front valance. These connectors can easily get dirty, so I would open it and clean both ends. It's an easy fix.
