By the way, those diesels both look like 1968 models. You can tell by the reflectors on the sides of the fenders and the square mirror on the white one. Only 575 were made that year, January and February production only!

Titled as a 68 and made in 68 are two different things.

Year of manufacturer was much looser back then and often a car was titled in the year it was sold, not made.

Also, the model year production usually started in August/Sept the previous year, 67 in this case.

Ok, good points being made on both sides get them or not get them. I know that they are nothing special as far as Mercedes go, they may be Ramblers and not SL's. But what would a person rather have a 1967 Ford Falcon or a 1967 200D? I'm going for another look and talk it over with my sons. I like the diesels have three could find room in my heart for one more, then a parts car them.... Thanks for the imput Robert

It would depend a lot to me on the condition of the two cars. Both equal condition? The 1967 200D.

Before I had a Benz in Germany I had a new Fiat that turned into a flintstone mobile in 2 years.
