W115 a/c evaporator question
Hi, has anyone here had the early 70's a/c evaporator apart and know if it'll fit into a car without a/c? I have a '71 220D with no a/c. I have several cars with a/c that I'm going to scrap. It looks like I could unclip the evaporator from an a/c car and clip it into the non a/c car. The non a/c car already has the little vacuum actuators on each side of the box, that perhaps will move the switchover air door that is maybe already inside. Ron

The aircon unit should also have the heater included so it's easier to install the whole box as one ,with the vacuum pots etc.
