Seat Back wont recline
Today at the junkyard I stumbled across a 1979 300SD turbo with what appeared to be NEW dirty bamboo MBtex seat covers. Sure enough they were manufactured by GAHH and didnt appear to be to old, 3-4 years maybe. They just need a bit of cleaning and they will be perfect. So i pulled both front seat backrests, and both front seat bottom COVERS for my 76 300D. Everything fits perfectly on the W115 seat frames.
Anyways the drivers side seat back is refusing to recline, so i will be sitting straight up and down until i can get it un seized. Anyone have this trouble before, whats the best way to un seize it without damaging anything? Thanks

seat
Are you saying "the adjustment knob doesn't move" or the knob moves but the seat back doesn't?

The adjustment knob turn a little bit and then it will no longer turn anymore. I guess the moving parts have rusted and seized.
