Hey Squiggle Dog, if everyone hated the way chrome fender arches looked, they wouldn't be so easy to find them. The auto house in Arizona sells them for $89.25 a set.

I have a set for my SDL and have been debating whether to put them on or not. I just had the car painted so I at least need to wait until I cut and buff the paint before installing them.

I can appreciate the look with or without, but my hesitation for installing them is due to the rust issues they can cause. All the trim on the cars can hold dirt and moisture and cause rust, but with proper attention and care there shouldn't be any issues.

EDIT: If you have to drill any holes I would treat the holes with POR-15 before putting the arches on.

Apparently new brass ones can be bought here for $330: http://www.fendertrim.com.au/?p=738 . Ouch.

I would remove them for cleaning every few years. I had planned on treating the holes and coating the threads to prevent them from rusting.

I have had it. I'm absolutely sick of people and being degrading by everyone telling me how stupid everything I do is. I obviously can't fit in anywhere. People find fault with everything I do and use it against me. I feel like I have hardly any friends in the world. All people in my life do is make fun of and ridicule me. I see past others' faults and try to build them up. All people do to me is try to tear me down.
Hey now I don't think every thing you do is stupid! I really like your fintail!
