300SEL 6.3 with MINT interior at parts yard in Houston!
The local Pick-A-Part just received a 6.3 with an excellent interior. No cracks in the seats at all. Wood seems good too. Somebody in the area grab this stuff! They even made an ad for it on Craigslist:

Do they have other old Mercedes? I need rocker arms for a straight six single overhead cam engine.

Ugh, depressing. Just think, that yard probably bought that car for $100-300. Makes me wonder if the owner even knew what they had, let alone that they could have fetched more for it on CL.
A yard I hit local has a W180 in the corner pretty much complete.  Thing looks like it came straight from The Third Reich.

key type wheel locks can be removed with a slide hammer, but if the penta's were wide ones i would just cut the axles off and extract them home at my leisure ..

Thats the yard ,its my bi weekly hike thru both yards that keeps me in parts for the time being .I will always find something ,Im guessing by the great condition of some of them that they were garage queens .Interior pieces come easy but its the rare 300cd back seat that has been unabtainable .THe bad is that their raising their prices again.

I could really use the air-conditioning control unit...that looks like the thermo king unit I have in my 250...
Mine works but needs to be refurbed a bit as the markings have worn... Hmm...

..any V8 starter will work on either M100. They look smaller but they do the Job OK.
