I ended up having the hood painted. None of the tricks actually worked out and I have tried a lot. So I have a like new hood now!

I find it hard to believe Boston made it through a winter, spring and into a summer without at least one hailstorm. Even one you weren't aware of. But anything that falls out of a tree that's heavier than a leaf....can be a culprit. An acorn smacking you on the head hurts if it falls on your noggin. I believe it can leave a dent. Have had it happen more than once mowing my yard.
