'73 280SE on ebay

Hey Folks,

Put my 280SE project car on ebay. A couple of you expressed interest and wanted photos. Here is where to find the ad:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220711524142

Thanks!
Eric

Too bad you have to let go of that; it looks like a great project car! I'd go after it, but rust scares me and I don't have the space to work on it--sorry.

Best of luck with the auction. You've been more than honest in the car's description and that's more than most ebay sellers can say.

Best Regards,

David

Thanks. How's the price? I've got $300+ in the fuel pump, $150 in the battery and another $100 in fuel line misc. parts. My reserve is $1500. I figure the car is worth $1000 plus the parts. Thoughts? I'm just hoping to get close to my cost.

Need the funds for the other project!

Eric

Thanks, but I really did not do all that much to it. A LOT of cleaning, the mechanicals and that's about it. I really thought I'd keep this one, but the 280C has such low miles and runs like it. Never played with the DOHC I6/Solex. New challenge.

Someone is going to get a decent fixer-upper. This 280SE needs a good bodyman and it will be fantastic.

Thanks again.
Eric

Your price is more than fair. I'm serious when I say that if I could (with the space, etc.) I would definitely buy this car.

Regards,

David
