Not 100% vintage, but should be - Wow.

Take a look at this 1984 Mercedes time capsule. Look at that engine compartment - not sure how you can put 158,000 miles on a car and have an engine that looks like that.

A very pretty car - despite the orange peel on the doors!

I don't believe it to be as time capsule as you may think.

Very good photographer, but after owning many, many w123s, I have learned that they all need $2000 worth of something. Usually it's motor mounts, AC parts (just needs a bump of freon - that's all!), a diesel purge, and God knows what else. This example sure is pretty, and it looks like maybe it only needs $1000 in somethings, but I'd rather be the seller than the buyer in this case. Pay a lot, probably won't get it back any time soon.

Voice of experience there. I had an 83 sedan with 230K or so that looked 90% as good as that (garage parking does wonders) and it easily needed a few grand, even almost ten years ago. I could go on..

Wasn't this FS here awhile ago and it got ripped apart for some crazy high pricing? Sure looks familiar.

Wow, $18,900. My 85 is mechanically A-OK but not as pretty as that one. But $19K?! Those wacky Beverly Hills people.
