Zenith 35-40 accelerator pump
I need an accelerator pump for the rear carb
Anyone know where I can find one? If necessary I'd buy a total rebuilt carb and exchange the core. This is for a 1966 MB 230S rear carb HELP

I have two extra Zenith carbs attached to a manifold from a 1971 280S. Are they the same?

all zenith acceleration pumps are created equal. New pumps used to be like 20$ in fastlane. That was a few years ago. Might be double that now. -CTH

Cth350 is right. As I recall they're the same as the ones used in the old VW bug carb. Years ago I remember getting two for my 250S at the used VW parts place for $5. The MB dealer at the time wanted ~$40 each. The originals were leather, and the newer ones are neoprene.
