Power window question

The LF window on my '67 250S won't go all the way up. It stops about three inches from the top. I can hear the motor run and it works part way up/down. Do I need a complete regulator or will one of the regulator rebuild kits fix my problem? I can't pull the window the rest of the way up either, it stops dead about three inches from closed. TIA

Common issue caused by a bent regulator which then tears up the top teeth on the gear, the only real solution is a new or non-bent used regulator. They're expensive to source since the issue is common. I've tried to bend regulators back & swap the gear around, which works for a few months of on-and-off use before it begins re-bending and slipping again. The rebuild kit won't fix this.

Thanks Tomguy, I guess I need to find a wreck. What is a good source for parts such as the window channel, switches and door gaskets and such? Only the MB Classics Center? What can I treat the interior wood with to protect it? It is mostly in good condition and I'd like to keep it that way.
