body panel interchange?
Will the front fenders from a 1968 280SE, bolt to a 1967 230S (W111)? They certainly look similar. From the front, they look identical to me.

If the 68 280 is in reality, a 280S, or 280SE, then they are different shells (W108), the profile of the fender where it meets front door is different. Jim

Jim,
It's an SE. I've not seen it "physically", to take numbers from it. I saw it on CL and thought about it becoming a donor for my sons 67 fintail.

Ya, I went and looked at this unit. The fenders look exactly the same, as you pointed out, it's probably the where the doors meet the fender that are different.
