W109, 3.5 transmission makes weird noises in D at a stop

I had some bad noises the last couple of days when transmission was in D at a stop mostly with cold engine.
Noise was going away when car is moving.
Can you help me figure out what this is?

My transmission is making also some slight noises when I am driving. it is hard to describe how it sounds exactly. I can mostly hear when I am slowing down and when I am almost stopping. It doesn't sound bad..I can just hear it. Not sure if this is normal or not.

How's your transmission fluid level? Check it while car is idling.
