Windshield Washer Lines!

(1966 MB 230S) I need help finding where the washer bottle lines go to. I see the line going to the washer spout, that line comes out of the fire wall from the peddle that activates the wipers to move, I think. The bottle I have is for this year car but came out of a different year and model so the attached lines to it aren't giving me any clues hahahaha!!! This is the set up where the bottle sits off of the battery hold down and the bottle is facing the motor. Where the hell is the wiper motor!!!!! HELP!!!! Doc.

Wiper motor is on the firewall. Your washer pump is foot controlled in US market cars. Check that the bellows is still working. if not,rig up and electric washer pump to work when the pedal is pushed.

mercmad thanks, looks like the motor is missing. I found pics showing it in the middle of the wall below where the spout is. The peddle is intact and works. So I'll start my search for one as soon as I clear up the alternator problem. It's over working when rpm's are up and failing real bad at idle. Looking for a local guy to rebuild it but not much to choose from in my area. Thanks again, Doc

On the 110/111s your wiper motor should be on the very right side of the firewall near the hinge. Looks like a rounded can with a short wire harness.

Regarding the washer, the top hose on the reservoir valve goes to the windshield nozzle and the bottom one goes to the foot pump. Don't forget to check the short hose that attaches to the nozzle up in the cowl. Mine was split from age.

No,the early Pontons have it in the center. That is the cars from 1955 to 1960 .
This where your wiper motor is,where the arrow is pointing.

Thanks will do!!! Can I get to the center spray nozzel threw the air intake or do I need to get into the cowl? *I sure hope its the intake* hahaha, Doc

Remove the chrome intake and loosen the cowl by taking out the two screws at each side. That will allow you to flex the cowl enough to get at the short hose. It may also be easier if you remove the nozzle by unscrewing the nut that holds it to the cowl.
