230 Needs Engine

Howdy all. Anybody in the Southeast got a bead on a motor for a late 60s 230? Apparently on of the cylinders is blown, and we were thinking it might be simpler just to get a good working engine. Thanks!

Brian

Great. Is that California? How much are you asking? What condition is it in?

Thanks!

I would go with Squiggle and get exact same motor.

My 280S engine and trans are really good, I did total valve job and had car running well with rebuilt carbs, rebuilt trans ($1,450) girlfriend had trouble, car got impounded, towed, showed up in pick-a-part and I scavenged all the parts I put into it, right down to the new subframe mounts hoses, etc. I was pissed but saved the $3,500 invested, even took the new windshield with gasket, radiator....
Good motors are getting expensive

a bit smaller.....

I have a w110 200D engine and 4 speed transmission. Unknown condition; but was told the car was parked due to rust issues. I believe it.

Delivery is possible later this year --- I have to make to trip to Florida before it gets cold.
