W108 ingition switch removal

Need some help on removing the entire assembly from the steering column. Long story, but I was attempting to pull the electrical connector from the switch today and instead I pulled the rear part out of the switch.See below.

I need to remove the entire switch so I can make sure to reassemble properly. I've loosened the clamp at the bottom of the switch where it attaches to the steering column but I don't detect any movement away from the column, it just rotates a bit. Am I being to gentle or is there some step I'm missing.

Thanks

I ve tried one myself - there seems to be a slot just beyond that 10mm bolt nut ?
The slot needs to be depressed and a key inserted - both at the same time ?

Perhaps someone here can chime in with more details .

Mine ultimately came out but it was tedious
