My New 280C
Hey Guys,
I just wanted to introduce my new 1973 280C. I'd kinda had my eye out for a W114 for a while with every intention of swapping in a diesel. Well, I found this little girl instead & it's way too nice to do that too. Oh well...

Seller hadn't really driven the car in a year & when I arrived he couldn't get it started. The price took a dramatic dive immediately & I towed it home the next day. Turned out to be a lose wire btw the dizzy & coil. Fired right off after that.
EVERYTHING under the hood is new. Every wire/hose/connector/etc. Brand new plugs/wires/points/etc/etc/etc. And there's not a lick of rust ANYWHERE; car was in CA/AZ until a few years ago. I'm not used to having cars this clean & it makes me nervous... lol. Except the alternator seems to have gone south. But I can handle that.
