1979 300TD hard fuel line size??

This is my first post to this forum, or any forum actually. I'm travelling from Masset to Port Townsend in my 1979 300TD and I swear my trusty car has become possessed. If anyone can tell me the size of my hard fuel lines i'd be grateful. Both my supply and return have sprung leaks. And how tricky is the replacement job? I trust i'll have to drain and drop the tank. Any suggestions for a quick fix that will see me through the week until I can get to a hoist? Or does anyone know any good automotive exorcists?
