Best thing ever to happen to me! Want to find happiness? Move to a farm on rural Tennessee and take care of a little old 81 year old granny with nobody else in the world. I'm a happy hippy, I just missed my decade by about fifty years. My big angry fast diesel Ford Super Duty, and farm life in general has injected me with a healthy dose of Redneck as well. I have a lot to be thankful for. Though my family is very small (my entire family consists of my granny and my mom) the bond I have with the ones I love is unbreakable. Because I devoted a year of my life to helping granny recover from her messy divorce and broken back, shes going to help me go to UTI to get my ASE certification! Shes the most benevolant graceful woman I've ever had the privilage of knowing and every day with her is a blessing.

Im my humble opinion everyone can benefit from a little of all three. On second though mostly redneck and hippie, only a small pinch of yuppie.

You close to NC? I have a mate here in Australia who is trying to get info about a turbodiesel for sale in Greensboro. it's on ebay but it looks like it has simply been washed to me and painted.
The M100 folks I know in the area are at our late presidents Funeral at the moment so none are up to looking at motors..

It would be about a 3 1/2 hour drive each way, I'll link the motorway directions. How soon would you need me to go look at it? If its a 617 I can do a compression test on it if required, I have the guage and adapter. "Herb" the highway cruisin' ford and a couple Pink Floyd CD's would dispatch the trip in no time.

There's only enough yuppie left in me to keep the checkbook in the black. Too much yuppie and I'll drag home a 635CSI or some old bathtub porsche speedster.

My hippy side tends to shine with my gradening ability, and out on the farm we rescue animals. The redneck side gives me the strength to mend fences, chop down (not chainsaw) trees, and endure the cold mountain winters. My life is a bit like that Steve Miller song "The Joker." Except nobody calls me Maurice.

Hi,no it's too far for you to travel. thanks for for the kind offer though. We will work something out from here . OM617 turbo engines were never sold here but there are small number ( about 6 i think) that have surfaced over the years and my mate wants to repower a W108 with one.
