w123 and w114/115 parts compatability

the w123 and w114/115 look very similar from the front wheels back. Are suspension parts interchangeable? i'm scrappin my rusty w123(minus the engine and whatever else i can use for a w111 swap) and just bought all new QUALITY front end rebuild parts. just spotted a w114 sitting on flats and think it would make a cool v8 swap candidate.

I have no clue on the other hand if that 114 on flats is a manual transmission I will help you buy the car for the tranny.

Front suspension is different. Rear suspension is more or less the same.
