W109 3.5: oil leak at transmission filler tube

I found a new oil leak at the banjo fitting transmission filler tube down at the ATF oil pan. I found a fine crack where the round banjo fitting is attached to the tube. Is there a chance of repair? Welding?
I have about a zero chance to get another filler tube here in Oman.

I drained the ATF, took the filler tube out and pressure tested it on the bench. No LEAK!
It must have been leaking aluminum seal rings then.
Anyhow...all-clear.
