if Solex 4A1 carb. is worped, fix it, i did.

Simply using a fine flat file ,file it down taking the worp off of it.
I had to file mine down on half of carb. Don't tighten the 4 bolts holding it on very tight, this is what makes it Worp when gets hot. From what I think ..

4A1's and the quadrajunk they are based on are from Shaitan. Fuel injection is better. Better still is injection followed by compression ignition.

This is why you should always use stiff, coated metallic gaskets that don't deform under tightening. Cardboard and rubberised cork are only satisfactory for iron and steel. Alloys need support.
