Remote Oil Filter Options?

Hi,

We're swapping an OM615 into a W110, and I'm seeing (and reading) that the oil filter hits the front suspension. Looks like a remote oil filter would be a good idea.

Where do I get one, preferably that has the correct Mercedes-compatible fittings? I've seen some aftermaket units from Amsoil, but am wondering what others have done.

Thanks!
Ryan

OR, does anyone have a close up picture of their relocation setup?

Thanks!

If it uses the same pattern as an OM617, I sell aluminum relocator plates. I am currently out of them, but I have an order going over to my machinist for an updated design in the next couple weeks, expected to be available for shipping before Thanksgiving.

I actually saw those during my searching, and they look great! I believe they are different, but I'll look into it. I'll probably just end up fabbing a plate for the motor side and going with a relocator kit from Amazon.
