Power steering hose leaking at bottom, is there an o-ring, etc?
Do I need to replace the hose or is there an o-ring or washer that I need to replace?
Thanks in advance.

Just going off my experience, the low pressure hose on my w123 was in horrible shape, and was causing a leak that ran down....as soon as I replaced the low pressure hose, no more leak....it was bulged at the end that connected to the power steering pump...

more than likely the flair has a small crack at the nut end . Hey if you fix all the leaks you may throw off the balance of the universe....

yes probably a crack in the flare fitting, that hose is not expensive to get new in the aftermarket. low pressure hoses can look good but if they are swelled they'll let air in and cause weird steering symptoms. DONT replace with heater hose, get the correct low pressure hose, i use hydraulic hose from NAPA

When I was a tech we always would have the hoses "rebuilt" at a local shop where they would replace the leaking parts recreate the hose with new better materials. Pretty cool because BMW hoses always seemed to leak at the flare or where the hose was crimped. The pricing was much more reasonable then either MB, BMW, or OE suppliers could provide even at our cost and I think that the resulting product was much better.
