New Alternator, old pulley is stuck :-) 1979 350se
its an AL80X from my 1979 350se. I got the bolt off easily, but the pulley will not budge. I tried some pentrating oil to see if that would help, i've heated it with a torch, tried a rubber mallet... nothing! Not sure how to get this thing off, any ideas, or anyone have one they want to sell? Its a single pulley.

Given your situation you might just take it to an alternator/starter shop and see what they would charge to change out your pulley. They do this sort of thing all the time and would have the tools and expertise to do quickly and correctly.

Places like Autozone, Advanced, etc have puller kits they rent out, may want to try one of those.
