Strange groaning noise (71 w114)...js
Hi All,
Sometimes when I stop at a light my car (1971 MB 250) makes this strange groaning noise. Kind of sounds like me when I get up in the morning for work. Anyone ever experienced this? Jub

You are both getting old.
 Does it happen when in gear at idle? Turning the wheel? Does it go away when you press the accelerator? Jim

Getting old...tell me about it...
But yes, it happens when in gear and goes away when I accelerate (not when I turn the wheels).
