Hi,

67 230S - dual Zenith 35/40 INAT carbs. These are also found on w108 250S, w115 250, BMW Bavarias etc.

I am missing a second stage diaphragm spring.

If anyone has one I will buy it from you! please send me a PM.

Thanks!
joe

Hi Joe,

Have you tried the guys at Moss Motors? They were knowledgeable when I was looking for a Stromberg 175CD rebuild kit -- even if they don't have the spring they might be a good place to start.

Cheers

Got the spring you need----it's your lucky day Joe.

Joe,
Have you found a spring yet? I have one if you still need it-----and happy to send it to you via USPS at no charge-----just to help someone get through some of the same dilemmas that I've recently been through with these Zenith 35/40 carbs---(lots of little things to learn on these carbs).
So if you still need this spring, then just email me at---"Packrat608081@gmail.com"---with the address you want it sent to, and I'll get it out as soon as I can.
Later,
Gary

Also needed------I'm trying to find a source for a replacement Secondary Diaphragm/Membrane for the same Zenith 35/40 carbs. I've found some on eBay but at $80 just for one its just too high (especially when some carb rebuild kits come with the diaphragm in them, and the entire kits are about that same price with everything). Really all that is needed is just the rubber part of the assembly and not the entire diaphragm mechanism, as my carbs have already had them replaced sometime in the past, and now have the ones that can be broken down into their individual parts and pieces. Any help is appreciated.
