72 220d loosing compression around injector

So I had a leaky injector .. Replaced the injector And now there is compression coming out around what looks like the injector seat .. Can the seat become loose ?? Any info will help

and you torqued it to the correct lbs ?

i dont have my book with me .. but IIRC 59 ft/lbs max

For the OP:
I was reading on another thread that the heat shields have changed somewhat over the years. Could you add a picture of the heat shields you used so we are all on the same page? And could you indicate which way around you installed them, because it sounds like they are easy to install incorrectly.

For the others here:
Could someone verify if the OM615 heat shields are identical to the heat shields currently used by the rest of the forum (OM617 owners)? Here are some of the images out there, and perhaps someone could help guide the OP on which one he should have used.

The heat shield that I put in looked exactly the same as the old one that came out and I put it in the right direction ... Now does the injector seat come out? It looks almost like you can unscrew it ? I can see that the leak is comeing from around the injector seat and the head ...
