Looking for help on odometer/clock repair on '74 280
 

Hi there. I just purchased a 1974 MB 280 that came with a broken odometer and a clock that doesn't work much better. I'm slowly fixing interior pieces one by one and was wondering what kind of a job/expense this is going to be. One local place quoted me $330 to fix just the odometer. I would be grateful for anyone with thoughts on this. Would also entertain the idea of a private mechanic in the LA area with expertise in this area. Thanks!
