Where to buy used Mercedes parts?

I have a 1985 240D and I wanted to know of junk yards or places that sell used mercedes parts.

I am in Southern California, 50 miles east of Los Angeles in San Bernardino.

I know this site is for 1979 and older but I don't know where else to post it.
Thanks in advance.

Search Ecology Auto Parts. They have import sections that have lots of Mercedes. I’m pretty sure there is one near you. From there you can ask around to find out about the smaller yards.

One more thing: This site is for all years. Good luck finding any DIY stuff for 2012 vehicles, but you get the point.

There is no such thing as a US model 1985 240D. Production ended in 1983.

Maybe that's how long it took the dealer to sell it. Two plus years after the last one was made, it was still brand new on the lot... Sold and titled as a 1985 240D W123...

The speed at which it was sold was only matched by its uphill acceleration.

Whoops! Oxymoron Alert. Can't use uphill and acceleration in the same sentence.

I know they made a euro version in 84, that were grey market imports . I bought a rusted out 84 240D parts car a few years back for the 5 speed getrag transmission. Likely they made it in 85 as well.

car-part.com is a used part search engine that may help you - or call up pick & pull yards in the yellow pages and ask them if they have any 1977-1985 w123 model mercedes

Google have lots of answers of junkyard and store details in your local area that you can find easily. However if you need some consideration about reliable auto parts store, I would recommend you to go with some online auto store where you can buy any of your auto parts with some saving option like I got mine with Remanufactured Automotive Engines - Car/Truck Crate Motors (Big/Small Long Blocks) page.

Ecology in Rialto and Fontana, Pick A Part in Riverside (I think). Just google Ecology, PickAPart and Pick Your Part and find the ones closest to you.
