1971 250C Mistery Wires?

Hi, Today I found the two wires highlighted in green in the picture below. They emerge from a harness located in a on the passenger fender near the A/C dryer, & are hard to trace. Any ideas what they are for & where I might reconnect them? Thanks, C

On my 114-body DOHC gasoline cars the receiver/dryer has a temperature switch with two terminals that control the supplementary fan--those may be the leads--good luck
