Anyone parting out a Fintail with Tobacco M-B Tex?
 

The previous owner installed some crappy carpet on the transmission tunnel. The rest of the carpets are perfect. So I would like to find a decent replacement piece. It is a column shift car if that makes any difference.

Several of the companies that sell carpet sets for the w111 sedan will sell individual pieces if you inquire. The biggest problem with this is that you may end up with a really nice tunnel that makes the other pieces look bad.

I have carpet samples from the supplier M-B Classic recommended. But none of them work. I figured if I got another used piece it might have the same or similar patina the rest of the car has. The original carpets BTW are just beautiful. It helps to have them professionally cleaned once every 46 years.
