can these "1976-80 450sel 6.9" specific brake lines also be used on my 1979 300SD?

I've pulled apart a few 6.9s and never saw a line like that one. The original line survived, what 30 years. Modern metal lines that are coated will do the same. I splurged on a new line from the classic center for an older car. A loop of green (coated) metal arrived. The right length, the right ends, just needed to bend it to the right shape.
