1977 450SL no directionals/hazard
Good Morning,
I have a friend who has a 1977 450SL that the directional and hazard lights are not working. All fuses have power and all other lights are working properly. I remember in my 123 diesels that if the switch was not fully engaged on or off, niether the diirectional or hazards woutd work, Could this be the switch or is it the flasher relay or both? A little guidance would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Paul |

Like Jim said the flasher, relay, and hazard switch are all one. Grab a spare switch and try it. However make sure your hazard switch is plugged in. I bought a 123 with no signals or hazards and upon pulling the center console it was simply unplugged. A previous, inept mechanic had not noticed it I guess.

my bet is the hazard switch. They can be taken apart and cleaned, ever so carefully

And if it is just shot then post a 'wanted' in the parts section. Most 123 owners have a few of these laying around.
