Ponton Motors Parts - Save us from the scrap pile!

Hi foks, I have the better part of a Ponton motor minus the engine block. Many parts are rather rusty but there is definitely usable stuff. A Solex carb, oil pan, valve cover, a transmission and various small parts.

I live in the Baltimore area and would love someone that can use this stuff to come haul it away. Any takers?

.

Would it be possible to tell us what model Ponton? or at least four cylinder or six cylinder, type of carb, any air cleaner, starter, generator, distributor, manifold, standard tranmission or Hydrak, etc.?

Thanks.
Tom

219

The parts are from a 6 cylinder. I have a few bad pictures of the parts but you get the idea.

I was told that the parts came from a sedan. I found this near the parts so a 219 is probably a good guess.

Top! This lot is still available to anyone that wants to haul it away. I'm pretty sure that some DIY electrolysis would work wonders on many of these parts.

I assume you don't have time to put it on eBay, but those Bosch horns typically bring $200 a pair, those valve covers sell for around $80, and the head should be worth a couple hundred dollars as a core. You'd probably do well selling it piece-by-piece that way.

I'd definitely take the parts off of your hands if you were local.

I would happily buy the horns, or put them on ebay and make yourself some $$$
