Hey Clayton92, where in South Florida are you? I'm in Miami.

Yes, the engine seems to overrev at speed, so I bought a rear end from a 1972 280SE 4.5L to install. The diff ratio on our cars is 4.1:1, while the 4.5L V8 diff ratio is 3.27:1 so that should lower the engine revs while on the highway. I need to buy some calipers and seals, and clean up the diff before I install though. Randy - Miami. 1967 W110 230 (no S, but twin Weber carbs)
