Anyone ever delt with an air ride setup for w111's?
I'm interested in tryin to set up a bagged system for the finnie 230s 66... I know there are people out there that do it and I've googled for a few days with no luck.
My question is which bags are people gettin and how are they mounting them? The rest is easy |
air ride
its going to be a custom job for the simple fact that there is know real kit for that car. take the springs out and start taking measurements and see whats out there with in those measurements. maybe some cutting welding and grinding will also have to be done. or maybe try and stab in some 109 bags?250.00 just for the bags maybe not.sure glad to see that there are others out there willing to slam there benz

This is a 108, but the same lessons apply; do it right and spend the $ to do it right.

Yeah I figured this is what I was going to have to do which is fine. Never know, one may have an easier way than another person to get it done. Like mentioned, I'd like to spend the money and do it right. Just gotta find the market of what's good an what's bad

It's called a W112, wink wink.

Well guys. I have a 71 280se that I am gonna start to bag. I ordered a kit from airbagit.com
They were excellent help. I hopefully will have the kit in the next day or so. If anybody is interested I can and will send info and updates on how the install is going. |
