W108 Sunroof issue....won't completely close
 
Panel goes to front, but rear wont raise up level with roof. Anyone experience this and fix it? Have lubed and cleaned the tracks repeatedly after running it back and forth per one MB mechanic's suggestion.

Try the manual crank over-ride to see it goes forward completely. This will help narrow down the problem to cable, clutch or locking mechanism.

Dos you tried a couple of times? With the car on?

I sometimes have trouble due to vacuum issues.

Panel does close al the way to the front...have tried it several times with car on....I will keep working at it. I'll try the manual crank as well and let you know what happens.
