I have rattle behind the sunroof (in the headliner area between the backbof the sunroof and the back wondow) and I think it's the sunroof cable going to the trunk.
Can one remove the headliner so I can fix the rattle?
I don't see a safe way to remove the headliner.
Headliner is in perfect condition and doesn't need replacement.
By touching the headliner in this area it feels like there is mesh type material under it.

Thank you for your help

Any takers on this one?
this seems to be the most difficult question to find an answer.

Thank you.

My ex mother in law had the same car with the similar rattle, she went to a garage and they had an older Cuban mechanic he drove with her and right away he knew that he had to take the lower part of the sunroof out and the pipe was loose above the rear windshield. He went to home depot and bought foam insulation and slide it over the pipe. The noise was gone and you couldn't see it. (By it from home depot because i have stock in this company)
