Wheel spins in a w114? (fuel press. regulator)

Hi All,

So I was reading this Australian guys post about installing a fuel pressure regulator in his w114:

OZBENZ - Australian & New Zealand Mercedes-Benz Forums • View topic - Dave's Weber Carby Conversion 'How To' Thread - W111/108/114

The says he installed a "Speco Fuel Pressure Regulator", and now he has eliminated all hesitation (in fact he said he can now do "wheel spins").

Anyone ever done this (is this true)? I mean the guy makes it sound that he can practically pop wheelies in his w114.

Wow, weber makes there own fuel pressure regulators (see attached).

Anyone ever installed one (looks like a simple in-line jobby).

I installed a fuel pressure regulator on my W114 when I converted the Zenith carbs to Weber. The Webers only need 2-3psi.
There's no way that installing an FPR on an otherwise sound car will let someone do wheel spins.
