Wheel spins in a w114? (fuel press. regulator)
Hi All,
So I was reading this Australian guys post about installing a fuel pressure regulator in his w114: OZBENZ - Australian & New Zealand Mercedes-Benz Forums • View topic - Dave's Weber Carby Conversion 'How To' Thread - W111/108/114 The says he installed a "Speco Fuel Pressure Regulator", and now he has eliminated all hesitation (in fact he said he can now do "wheel spins"). Anyone ever done this (is this true)? I mean the guy makes it sound that he can practically pop wheelies in his w114. Jub |
I would like to know myself. :-)

Wow, weber makes there own fuel pressure regulators (see attached).
Anyone ever installed one (looks like a simple in-line jobby). |
I installed a fuel pressure regulator on my W114 when I converted the Zenith carbs to Weber. The Webers only need 2-3psi.
There's no way that installing an FPR on an otherwise sound car will let someone do wheel spins. |
