1971 250C Fuel Geyser

Having replaced the Zenith carbs with Webers, my car runs great. The emission controls are disconnected & vacuum ports plugged (my vacuum advance is non-op). However, when I was facing nose-down on a significantly inclined driveway yesterday, I smelled gas & noticed profuse (practically pouring) fuel leakage from the front of the car. It stopped when I brought the car level. I'll soon to recreate the scenario & seek the source, but before I do, has anyone experienced this/have suggestions?

Either the return line is loose or you have a problem with the vapor line routing.

My 1967 230 has the same modification; Zeniths to Webers. The Zeniths had a fuel return-to-tank feature, but the Webers do not. The return-to-tank line was blocked off in the area behind the left front wheel.

Thanks, men...the return line wasn't capped.
