My new to me '72 250C

Hi everyone. Over the weekend I pulled the trigger on this beautiful machine. Outside she's great. Inside the trimmings need some attending to and replacement and whatnot, but It's becoming a fun project. Already started gluing the door cards back together and getting it all tightened up. 158K on the motor and counting. Looking forward to hopefully many years of use and getting her back to where she was.

this is me addressing why the windows wouldnt roll up.

Is it possible for you to provide a photo of the Data Plate attached to the Radiator support? I would love to know the paint code. I'm guessing that it is Waldgruen (forest green, metallic). I used to have a -71 250C in Europe back in the late '70's and it was Metallic Forest Green. This color looks the same.

Thanks. Beautiful Car. Do love the color.

Am guessing that the paint code is DB268 - got a 108 in the same color.

I like the single fog lamp-look, kind of like an automobilic monocle.

Great looking car, aside from carbs which can give problems, these are pretty stout cars.

I must admit I'm not usually a fan of this body color, but in that color it looks really good!

Best of luck,

David

I love the W114 coupe. Don't see many of them anymore.
