opinions on Universal station wagons
 

Well, as smart as I am I must admit to a large hole in my wisdom and that is when it comes to Mercedes wagons before the 123.

I will be needing a Mercedes wagon in about one year. The more interesting it is the better since it will be for a business project and will need to attract attention. Therefore any opinions anyone has about the old 110 and 108 wagons would be welcome.

I'm pretty up on the 108/109 from having once owning a 6.3, but I could still use any info on weak spots to look for.

I am mostly interested in build quality. I know what type of car Mercedes builds, but were the wagon conversions of the same quality?

They are very very rare.....I only know one member on three forums that has one....and his is very rotted and a basket case.....when they come up for sale your looking at six figures....if you want attention, look for a vintage limo or Hurst...
