What spark plugs to get, and should I get a hotter coil? M110
 

I just purchased the Pertronix ignitor system from Retro Rockets seen here Mercedes-Benz. Still waiting for that to arrive and in the meantime want to buy spark plugs since they are due for replacement. Not too knowledgable about ignition systems and it seems stock I should be getting plugs without resistors correct? Did some searching and have a rough idea of what to look for, but I am still doing some head scratching.

Now I'm also wondering if I should also order a hotter coil? Some folks have said I'll be fine without it, others say it is definitely something to upgrade. I'm not that concerned with originality of the car if the new parts would be less maintenance and more efficient.

What year is the car/engine? What spark plug wires are installed? Do you intend to retain them? Which PerTronix package will you be using?

Over the years the M110 was supplied with four different ignition systems.
