110 motor/280C coolant flush questions
1) Is there an engine plug to drain coolant from engine.
2) How many quarts/liters should I buy? 3) What color coolant, red, blue or is it relevant since all of it is being drained?

yes, there are plugs. Not that I can remember where right now (it's late). There is one on each side of the block. I recall them being right next to the aluminum arms that hold up the block.
Coolant should be benz approved stuff. Ideally, you're going to flush well, drain out the tap water and fill it with nice, cheap distilled water and the right coolant. A gallon of coolant and a gallon of distilled should do it. -CTH |

I would use Zerex G-05 in any aluminum head engine. Get it at NAPA.
